Black River Road, NB - Fundy Kingfishers player Chris Hoffman was full of energy late last night. He met with reporters briefly and noted he was gunning for the Ratz primarily, but said that all teams need to be focused on him this year. He said, "
I am ready to challenge Taylor for the scoring race. I know Taylor had his backhand clocked at 80 mph, but me and the boys were fooling around and they clocked my slap shot at 55 mph this past week. I knocked over the Chief's coffee cup and had to buy donuts for everybody. The ship is sinking at Ratz Nation and they had better bail before it sinks."
