Joe Stevens Meets with Press on Sunday

Bonny River, NB - Joe Stevens says that if he has his way, the Bonny River Ratz will not be falling into the hands of a "bunch of foreigners." Stevens was commenting about the series of stories circulating about Geoff Cunningham, Mike Gould a group of other Pennfield millionaires who were looking to buy the storied franchise and possibly move it.

Stevens noted, "Me and a bunch of farmers from Bonny River have made a formal bid and it should be enough. Let's just say there ain't gonna be no Pennfield Ratz in the FIHL this year. We are committed to having hockey in Bonny River for a number of years. Them two don't their asses from their elbows. Every time they go to have a dump, they roll up their sleeves."
