Bonny River, NB - Certainly an 0-3 start wasn't what the Bonny River Ratz had hoped for. After three somewhat lopsided losses, the team has nothing to do but refocus on the task at hand and that is the next game Tuesday versus the championship squad, the Blacks Harbour Timberwolves. After missing the last two games, captain Joe Stevens met with reporters late Tuesday night after he heard the team lost another one to the Blackland Twisters 4-1.
"I heard that Taylor made a speech in the room after the second period and it shows how he is feeling the pressure of losing more than the rest of us. He noted that nobody is expecting anything from the rest of us as they don't have 800 + career goals. Now, on the surface that may sound a bit conceited, but I always believe that if it's true, it ain't bragging," said a very dejected Stevens.
