Timberwolves apply sporadic pressure on KingfishersThe Fundy Kingfishers appear to be poised to grab their 3rd league title in 4 years after a decisive 8-3 victory Sunday night over the reigning champs Blacks Harbour Timberwolves. Team GM Matty Walsh noted after the game that his team "looks to wrap it up in three games and save the league some coin."
The Kingfishers took advantage of several odd man rushes and had the Timberwolves on their heels most of the night. If the effort is not increased, it may very well be a short series.Game three goes Tuesday night at 7:40 at the Fundy Arena.
