Kingfishers Win in Shootout, XXX Grabs Important 1 Point

Blacks Harbour, NB - A very happy and dejected Matty Walsh met with the scrum of reporters after the Kingfishers 8-7 shootout win. Walsh noted, "I heard Harris thought we were playing the Ratz tonight and said he couldn't make it. It's time he read the schedule. I know a lot of guys that have mysterious illnesses when the Ratz are schedules against us, but this is crazy. Hey, staring competitions are fun, but the sun always wins, man."

The loss still yielded a point for the XXX who sit atop the FIHL standings with 37 points. The KIngfishers have 35 points, good for second pplace.
