Ratz Star Forward Mark Taylor
Possible Taylor Linemates Greg Justason and Joe Stevens
Blacks Harbour, NB - The announcement of the teams in the semi finals had barely leaked out and already Ratz Captain Joe Stevens has fired the first shot. He noted, "Taylor just bought a nice piece of property on Ganong Street. He will be backing in Tuesday night and putting the rig in Park. This may disturb the neighbourhood as they have been sleeping for a long time."
Stevens remained tight-lipped about possible line combinations, but did say he thought it was time to let exiled players Kevin Murray and Andrew Moffitt back in the lineup. Stevens said, "I think they have learned their lessons. I think they both know what we expect and that what they were bringing to the rink wasn't what we are all about as an organization. Everybody is now on the same page."
Meanwhile, Matty Walsh, the GM of the perennial powerhouse Kingfishers was singing a different tune than his usual bovine feces. Walsh said, "I ain't saying we're going to mop up the floor with these guys. They will be tough to beat. They have an army most nights and we will need to be in good shape to beat them. I predict a long series."
