Van Horne Sidelined for 6 Weeks

XXX Star Chris Van Horne Meets with Press Sunday

Blacks Harbour, NB - The St. George XXX suffered a major setback on the weekend when the learned that their star player Chris Van Horne had been injured and would be out of the lineup for 6 weeks. Van Horne reportedly was sliding and got a separated shoulder and broken collarbone. The injury occurred when Van Horne was sliding down Devil's Cellar in the MacDougall Lake area in a kayak and wiped out.

Team General Manager Jason McGrattan was swift with his punishment and suspended Van Horne for 6 weeks. McGrattan noted, "We had to do something. This is the type of behaviour that we need to avoid. If we allow this, then it opens up a big bag of worms, know what I'm saying?"
