St. Andrews, NB - The NBCC St. Andrews campus has announced it will be hosting a Winter Carnival on Jan 30 & Jan 31, at the college. It will be an excellent family outing according to Hockey Coach and Chief Bottle Washer Justin Sweeney. Sweeney noted, "There’s going to be inflatable fun houses and mazes for kids on Saturday the 31st, sumo-wrestling suits and a dunk tank on Friday evening (Jan 30), carnival games, prizes, access to our climbing wall (guardian permission for that one), clown, magician, some local entertainment, drop-off boxes for the local food bank, BBQ, young children’s play area and pretty much whatever else I can put together and fit in to our gym over the next couple weeks.
Admission is FREE…but the rides, foods, and games will cost you…but not much. If you show up Friday night, you’ll probably get a chance to dunk me as I’m wearing a clown costume. Any funds raised go to help the students afford their graduation (which they pay for out of pocket)."
