Ratz Paid in Full, Still More Money Needed

FIHL Cannot Finance Games
Blacks Harbour, NB - The current financial status of the FIHL has made it necessary to draw everybody's attention to this very important issue. Games costing almost $300 a shot have made it imperative that all teams chip in their fair share. The offending teams have been contacted regarding this. It is now down to two teams that are short with one being substantial under-paid, so much so that the league is considering drastic measures in order to cut losses to a minimum.
The league is no different than any business and it needs money to operate. The $4,100 per team was deemed to be sufficient to run the league for the duration of the season. Anything less than this puts the rest of the teams in a bad situation as they will have to make up the deficiency.
We started out this season as friends and we don't need to money to come between that friendship. We all have our rivalries and heat of the moment moments. At the end of the game, there isn't anybody who couldn't sit down and have a cold one with anybody and that is what this league is about. They don't call these beer leagues for no reason. I don't think anybody would be happy to be told that they have reached the end of the season.
Consequently, we are all calling on the teams that are short in their payments to step up to the plate and pay at once.
Thank you
The FIHL
