Many FIHL Stars to Take a Pass on NHL Legends Game

Walsh: "They Are Going in a Different Direction as we are"Matty Walsh at Hockey Hall of Fame

Blacks Harbour, NB - After a short meeting at FIHL headquarters this morning, Matty Walsh sat with reporters to discuss the NHL Legends Game on March 11 in St. Stephen. Walsh said, "I have spoken to the promoter and in turn talked to our players and everybody has decided to go in different directions. There is no ill will here and I wish them all the success in the world. Taylor, Custy Justason, Joe Stevens, Jeremy Mahar and I have all decided that we will not be suiting up. It's nothing personal. He is assembling his own squad that will be comprised of players primarily from Charlotte County and I'm sure it will still be a blast."
