Chambers Ready to Pick Up from Last Season
Matt Dewar and Matty Walsh at SigningBlacks Harbour, NB - Although Matty Walsh readily admits that he couldn't get all the deals closed he wanted to, he clearly has a plan for the upcoming season. Walsh noted, "The Ratz seem to be a step ahead of us this year for some reason. We had some projects on the back burner that fizzled out but we feel that by adding Matt Dewar and Deke Cheney, we will have at least a competitive squad; one that we feel can compete with Taylor and the Ratz."
The Kingfishers kick off the 2009-2010 season against the Ratz October 18 at 7:40 p.m. at the Fundy Arena.
