New Look Ratz Impressive in Exhibition Tilt

Rick McFarlane impressive in Ratz debut
Josh Young (C) hopes to crack line up
Keith Hoyt turned some heads in initial outing with the Ratz

Bonny River, NB - The Ratz started Sunday night's exhibition game versus the Fundy Kingfishers with three new hopefuls in the lineup. Josh Young (also known as his rap name Young Josh), Keith Hoyt and Rick McFarlane were chomping at the bit to make an impact on the Ratz staff. The three waited anxiously as team captain Joe Stevens came into the dressing room with his summation of their performances.

Stevens said, "Well, McFarlane and Young popped a couple goals and Hoyt carried the water bottles back to the dressing room so I'd have to say we're satisfied with them so far. We think we have the right combination here right now and look forward to seeing what some of the others can do. I don't want to say too much, but it appears the Ratz may not be done yet with offseason signings. That's all I can say right now."
