10 Ratz fail in attempt to repeat as champs in Quispamis Play Offs. Team owner Joe Stevens blames poor goaltending and boozing for the setback
Taylor leads tourney in blocked shots and hits for second consecutive year. Taylor continues to be one of the most feared guys on blades.
8. Matty Walsh and Shane Smith are the subject of trade talks. Stevens looking at adding Slug as the answer to the lack of toughness in the Ratz line up.
7. Joe Stevens adds 500th assist. Stevens credits the many years of skating with Mark Taylor as the reason for the success.
6. Taylor posts .949 save percentage to establish himself as the premier goalie in the world. Taylor faced 1063 shots and yielded only 28 goals.
5. Mark Taylor pots 800th career goal on assist from Joe Stevens. Stevens’ backhand pass to Taylor in the slot eludes perennial all star goalie Gordie Anderson. Anderson later presented Taylor with a plaque and the history-making puck.
