The Bonny River Ratz clawed their way to the finals at the 2010 BIG Show, only to fall 6-2 to Jake's Thrashers. It was evident the Ratz were running on fumes as the pressures of playing three games in two days finally caught up with them. It also appeared that nerves played a part in the loss; as several members obviously had reservations about playing in the finals but did manage to join the team after arriving late for the game. Team captain Joe Stevens noted that to his surprise many players were extremely nervous and that was to blame for the player's late arrival.

"We are not planning any disciplinary action for the players who were late for the final game. We all know who they were, and to single them out at this point would serve no purpose. Everybody is human and to be a little queasy is normal in these circumstances. I was proud of the effort even though we didn't reach our goal of a championship, but I do believe we were the only team from Charlotte County to get on the podium," added a very distraught Stevens.
