Ratz Forward Joe Walsh
Blacks Harbour, NB - An enraged Ratz team captain Joe Stevens met with a swarm of reporters this morning amidst reports that forward Joe Walsh had snubbed the storied franchise. He noted, "It appears the Walsh boys had better get some help with their reading skills. Joe Walsh signed a deal last spring with the Ratz. We flew him in, wined and dined him all weekend and just flew into Pennfield Airport on our dime and now he's playing for the Kingfishers? If we felt he was any good to us, we could have had Matty Walsh but we don't need that junk on our squad. The Kingfishers can have him but he signed a deal at the same time his illiterate brother did."
Joe Walsh was not answering calls but Matty Walsh did and said, "It's all looked after. Joe is signed for a a try out with the Kingfishers. He's not on the the team. It's a try-out. Maybe Stevens should switch to de-caf."
