Blacks Harbour, NB - FIHL officials met behind closed doors all morning and had little to share with the press. At the center of the meeting were allegations made by anonymous sources that two members of the league were involved in terrorist activities. Unconfirmed reports have Nate Sharkey of the Lepreau Pirates and Ryan Weatherby as being the two involved. The group known to many as the Pilltown Taliban have reportedly been secretly meeting for a number of months and were planning attacks on landmarks in the Eastern Charlotte area. One unconfirmed report had the duo stealing a 3 wheeler and crashing it into the apartment complex on the east side of St. George known to many in the area at the Twin Towers. The Twin Towers are located between Lakewood Fitness and APM Auto Parts and are visible from the #1 Highway.

An FIHL press release states, "Although everybody is guilty from the get-go in the FIHL, we reserve any judgement on this affair until a thorough investigation can be completed. Mr. Weatherby and Mr. Sharkey are aware of the investigation and have cooperated with league officials. This type of activity is a huge concern of the league and will be dealt with in a swift and pretty fair manner."
