Outraged Ratz Captain Joe Stevens
Blacks Harbour, NB - The score was 13-5 but Joe Stevens said that it was not indicative of the play. He added, "The Kingfishers gooned our big guy tonight and we just never responded. He was pulled down by three of them idiots on a breakaway and no penalty shot was called. Walsh was so crooked tonight, I swear his socks were on cross-threaded."
Meanwhile, a very relieved Matty Walsh said, "We were lucky tonight that we caught the Ratz on a big three game run this past week. They came out flat. Plus, it was Chinese New Year and the end of the Year of the Rat; a very emotional time for them. As far as gooning Taylor, I won't deny we paid special attention to him tonight but to call it gooning is a little much in my books."
